Silast D3

SILAST D-3 is a silicone three-component gel / jelly for sealing boards or other electrical and electronic parts / circuits for insulation from moisture and dust.

Chemical composition: Three-component composition. Component A - a mixture of polydimethylsiloxane polymer and polydimethylsiloxane oil; Component B - a mixture of polydimethylsiloxane oil and stabilizer; Component C - a mixture of polydimethylsiloxane oil and additives.

Method of application: Before use, the components in the original packages are mixed well, then mixed in a separate container in the ratio A: B: C = 2: 1: 1 and the mixture is homogenized. Do not mix the individual components in their original packaging with the same stirrer and avoid getting and mixing two of the three or three components in each original packaging! Operating time (gelling time, viability of the mixture) - 3 ÷ 4 h The final gelling (hardening) occurs after 24 h.
