Processing

Component 1 (silicone paste Silast D-2 ETI20) is mixed with component 2 (cured K168) in a ratio 100:5 parts by weight at room temperature. Components 1 and 2 may only be used together if they have the same batch number.

Storage

The Best use before end date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.

Safety notes

The components of the addition-curing grade Silast D-2 ETI20 contain only constituents that over many years have proved to be neither toxic nor aggressive, but still they are not recommended for use in the food and medical industries.

Special handling precautions are therefore not required, i.e., only the general industrial hygiene regulations apply.
