Chimepox MIOX is a two-component epoxy intermediate coating formulated with micaceous iron oxide (MIO) to provide enhanced barrier protection in multi-layer corrosion protection systems.

The lamellar pigment structure creates a dense overlapping film that significantly reduces the penetration of moisture, oxygen and aggressive agents to the substrate. This improves the long-term durability and overall performance of the protective system.

The product is used between epoxy primers and finishing coats in heavy-duty industrial applications.
