Chimepox Stone Vacuum

Chimepox Stone Vacuum Resin is a low-viscosity epoxy system (resin viscosity 250–450 mPa·s at 25°C) designed for the vacuum impregnation of marble, granite, and other natural stones. The resin penetrates deeply into pores and micro-cracks, improving the stone’s mechanical stability, structural integrity, and visual appearance.

The system offers excellent transparency, stable behavior during the vacuum process, and uniform curing without unwanted optical defects. Thanks to the possibility of selecting different hardeners depending on ambient temperature, the product is suitable for year-round use in industrial environments.

Hardeners by season: Depend on the environmental temperature 

Warm conditions (≥25°C): use a slower hardener → keeps pot life and penetration time

Normal conditions (≈20–25°C): use standard/medium hardener

Cool conditions (≤18–20°C): use faster hardener → avoids very slow curing and long downtime

• Summer – slow hardener, gel time approx. 190 min at 20°C, or one can choose even slower hardener 301 min at 20°C

• Spring / Autumn – medium hardener, gel time approx. 125 min at 20°C

• Winter – fast hardener, gel time approx. 51 min at 20°C

Applications:

• Vacuum impregnation of marble blocks and slabs

• Treatment of porous and cracked natural stones

• Stone preparation prior to cutting, polishing, or installation
