Epoxy resin – very tough and resistant to mechanical stress. Decent chemical resistance and very good adhesion to different substrates (concrete, metal, wood and etc.). Becomes yellow or changes color if exposed to sunlight for long period of time unless a special hardener is used. Epoxy resins have very good electrical insulating properties.
The epoxy resin is suitable for casting thick highly transparent layers (up to 4-5 cm). It is suitable for non-yellowing, transparent or pigmented decorative and industrial coatings. Spreading rate for 1mm thick layer is ~1,15 kg/m2.
A 2-part epoxy-based system applied by brush or spray for protection of metallic and concrete surfaces operating under immersion conditions in contact with water and aqueous solutions when potable water approval is necessary.
